The Final Frontier 5

Back in my day, spaceships were simple and straightforward. You had your saucers from Venus, tripods from Mars, and eggs from Ork. These days, though, the new line of spaceships all have to be decked out with lights, guns, and tons of shiny bling. I'm not even sure most of these nacelles and infinitely improbable drives do anything, but they sure make the ships look futuristic and cool.

In this contest, we're asking you to try your hand a designing a new spaceship, or a whole fleet. Don't copy existing designs -- if it looks like the Enterprise or Galactica, it will be shipped off to the scrap yards of Kessel faster than you can say "Make it so".

Please, DO NOT post WIPs in your comments. Post them in the forums after the contest has ended.

Have fun, be creative!, keep it clean, follow the Arena Rules please, and be careful to avoid using cliches. You will have 48 hours to submit so make your entry count! As always, quality is a must. We'll remove poor images no matter how much we like you.
