Haunted Houses 3

Everybody's heard stories about mysterious and creepy places where horrible tragedies happened long ago. Places where the ghosts of those involved still walk the grounds daily, presumably to scare the bejeezus out of everyone because, hey, they're ghosts. What else are they going to do for all eternity? If I was stuck wandering the earth in spectral form, I'm sure I'd get my kicks that way, too.

Perhaps, you've seen a haunted house in the movies. Or, perhaps you've driven by an old, decrepit house that just *looks* haunted. Or... maybe you've even been in one yourself... wandering around inside after your friend dared and double-dog dared you to go inside. And you did, because you had to prove you weren't a big fat chicken. Once you cautiously stepped inside, the door creaked itself closed behind you and it was too late to escape. You closed your eyes tightly in a vain effort to make the entire situation go away. I wish I was at home again, I want to be home again! Before you knew it, you felt a chill embrace you, sending shivers down your spine. And when you slowly opened your eyes again...

"BOOOOOO! HAHAHAHAAAAAAA!"

It was just one of your stupid friends messing with you. So you yelled at him for being a jerk and you stormed out of the horrible house and ran all the way home, leaving your friend alone.

And oddly enough, you never did see your friend again after that day. Hmm. I wonder what happened...

For this contest, we want you to create images of haunted houses. After all, it is the Halloween season, and what better way to celebrate Halloween than by creating creepy haunted houses? You may show us the exterior or interior of the house - it's up to you. You can also include ghosts or any other creepy things you think that haunted house might have. Use your imagination, and have fun with it!

Please don't use already photomanipulated haunted houses that were created by someone else, nor images of existing haunted houses from movies (so no Amityville). Be original.

Please, DO NOT post WIPs in your comments. Post them in the forums after the contest has ended.

Have fun, be creative!, keep it clean, follow the Arena Rules please, and be careful to avoid using cliches. You will have 48 hours to submit so make your entry count! As always, quality is a must. We'll remove poor images no matter how much we like you.
