What's Your Interpretation?

Contest rules

You know that episode of The Simpsons where they're all playing Pictionary? Kirk Van Houten tries to draw "dignity" (and fails miserably) so Luanne jumps up and draws something. We never actually see what it is that she draws, but everyone in the room agrees that it's a perfect representation of the concept. How would you draw "dignity"? Or any other abstract concept, for that matter?

That's the idea behind this contest series. For this particular round, we want you to create a visual representation of a specific abstract concept: "Hope".

Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. Hope is the force behind so many things... music, love, books, movies, family, community, political action... the list is endless. What is "hope" to you?

The term "hope" is open to your interpretation of it, provided that the image stays within the boundaries of our arena guidelines.

Please, DO NOT post WIPs in your comments. Post them in the forums after the contest has ended.

Have fun, be creative!, keep it clean, follow the Arena Rules please, and be careful to avoid using cliches. You will have 48 hours to submit so make your entry count! As always, quality is a must. We'll remove poor images no matter how much we like you.

BONUS: If you use Aviary.com to create your entry you will receive 10 free credits! If you win you will receive an additional 100 credits.

NOTE: To receive your free credits, please site message Corporate with a link to your entry.
