Punk-A-Pet

The punk movement is all about showing your individuality and being anything but mainstream. "Fitting in" is of the utmost non-importance for punks, and their look is one that screams "I don't care what you or anyone else thinks! I'm happy with who and what I am, so screw you, world!"

The punk "look" might involve facial piercings, radical hairstyles in bright colors, tattoos, ripped denim and t-shirts, arm warmers and wristbands...

...geez, writing it all out like that I realized that I pretty much just described myself there (minus the facial piercings and tattoos... I really hate pain). Heh.

But you get the idea of what the "punk" look is - and your pets want it. Oh yes, they do. They want it baaa-aaaa-aaad. They're tired of being leashed and caged. They're tired of the same old fur color. They long to express their individuality! They wanna stand up tall on their hind legs, shaking their wristbanded paws in the air to tell the world where to stick it!!! Some of them even wanna join Green Day as backup singers!

Ahem. Where was I? Oh yes. For this contest, we want you to punkitize your pets. Turn your pets into punks. No wild animals -- only creatures that can actually *be* pets may be used for this contest. This includes snakes and lizards, pet birds, tarantulas *shudder* or scorpions, fish, ferrets, cats, dogs and farm animals.

Please, DO NOT post WIPs in your comments. Post them in the forums after the contest has ended.

Have fun, be creative!, keep it clean, follow the Arena Rules please, and be careful to avoid using cliches. You will have 48 hours to submit so make your entry count! As always, quality is a must. We'll remove poor images no matter how much we like you.
