After purchasing the Shire for a song, the golf course developpers realized they could keep the Hobbits, with their vast knowledge of plants and gardening, on as grounds keepers.

If you look closely, you can see Frodo relaxing under a tree after a hard day of work... and a couple of sheep trained to tend to the grass.
